Just twenty minutes over the Severn from the M4/M5 interchange, Tintern is an excellent stopping off point for trips up to Northern England or down to Cornwall.
We are 2.5-3 hrs drive from London, 2-2.5 hrs to London airports or Birmingham. Bristol, Cardiff, Cheltenham and Gloucester are all within a 50 minute drive.
We are on the main road (A466) at the Tintern Parva end of the village opposite the river and the St Michael's Church. This is on the left if you are driving from Chepstow (just five minutes from Tintern Abbey) towards Monmouth; or on the right as you first enter the village (a minute past the turn for The Old Station) if you are driving from Monmouth towards Chepstow.
On-site parking is plentiful and free. Guests can charge their electric cars by advance arrangement and at a reasonable rate. Please ask us for details.

From Cardiff: M4 to J23; M48 to J2; then follow A466.
From London: M4 to J21; M48 to J2; then follow A466.
From England it's quickest to go over the (now free) Severn Bridge (Pont Hafren), not the Second Severn Crossing (Prince Charles Bridge). Look out for the Chepstow exit immediately on the left as you leave the bridge.
Rail
There is a 90 minute direct service to London at Bristol Parkway (35 minutes drive). The nearest station is Chepstow.
Bus and Coaches
The nearest coach station is Chepstow, which links to Bristol, Cardiff, Newport, London and Swansea. Bus route 69, Chepstow - Monmouth, stops immediately outside the hotel.
